Ground-breaking Pilot Mentoring Programme

Work has been going on behind the scenes for a few months now to set up a pilot Mentoring Programme for both Public Sector Buyers & Suppliers. The Winning in Tendering Team at both Bangor and Dublin University will be running the pilot mentoring project, in Wales and Ireland, for six months commencing January 2013.

ICPS collaborates with Nigeria’s Procurement bodies

ICPS collaborates with Nigeria’s Public Procurement Research Centre (PPRC) and the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), Nigeria to run pioneer training on Effective Public Procurement in Practice for procurement personnel.
Dr Ama Eyo, Procurement Lecturer and Director of LLM in Public Procurement Law & Strategy, Bangor University, who also works as Procurement Law Specialist with the Bangor Institute for Competition and Procurement Studies (ICPS) was recently invited by Nigeria’s regulatory Procurement Body, the Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP) to train procurement personnel on “Understanding Effective Public Procurement in Practice.

Value Wales win prestigious Civil Service award

The Value Wales policy team have won the Procurement Award at this year’s Civil Service Awards, beating off stiff competition from nominations from across the UK Civil Service.
